Our product concept for this project is a temporary furnishing venture that supplies our target audience (military families and travel nurses) with furniture for their temporary homes. Our goal is to make their temporary stays feel like home through hassle-free furnishing. Throughout this course and project, our team has gained various career readiness skills such as teamwork, communication, and leadership
Teamwork has been instrumental in achieving our goals and producing material. We have divided tasks based on individual strengths, ensured open communication, and offered help and support to one another throughout the project. Collaboration and clear communication are central to our success in this course. We have been holding meetings to discuss tasks, delegate responsibilities, and ensure everyone is on the same page. We have also effectively communicated with community members, presenting our plans at a Founders Live Event and actively receiving their feedback. While we do not have a designated leader, different team members emerged as leaders at various stages of the project. For instance, one member seeking feedback from the community, while another utilizes their strong design skills to help us deliver a working prototype. This experience aligns with NACE's perspective on teamwork, communication, and leadership.
